Stay Area Guide does not require a visitor account and does not take hotel reservations or payments. The site operator determines the purpose of the limited site measurement described below. This notice is updated as providers and site features change.
Hosting and essential delivery
The hosting and security provider may process ordinary web-request information, including IP address, browser headers, requested URL, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. This processing is separate from the optional Google Analytics choice.
Analytics choice
Google Analytics remains off unless you choose Allow analytics. The site stores that choice in your browser under stayarea_analytics_consent_v1. If you allow analytics, the site sends page views and limited interaction context such as page, language, city, content type, CTA position, named outbound provider, and outbound domain. It does not intentionally send traveler names, email addresses, hotel dates, party details, payment details, or booking contents.
Google states that the default Google Analytics implementation can collect session statistics, approximate geolocation, and browser and device information, and can store a client ID in the first-party _ga cookie when analytics storage is enabled. Google also states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time to derive location information and discards them before they are logged. Affiliate links
No approved booking link is currently connected to the site. If an affiliate link is activated later, it will be identified as a sponsored partner link. Clicking it sends you to the named booking provider. That provider may receive ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information, the referring page, and the link's attribution parameters, and may use cookies or similar identifiers under its own privacy policy. Stay Area Guide may receive aggregated click, booking-attribution, cancellation, and commission reports, but the booking provider—not this site—handles the reservation and payment.
Sharing, retention, and sale
Optional Google Analytics measurement is enabled only while analytics is allowed. Affiliate click data is sent to the named booking provider only when a visitor chooses to open an activated partner link. The consent choice remains in browser storage until you change it or clear site storage. Hosting, analytics, and future affiliate providers retain data under their applicable settings and policies; exact provider retention periods may differ. Stay Area Guide does not sell visitor personal information.
Your choices and requests
You can choose Keep analytics off on the consent panel or reopen Analytics settings in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent updates analytics storage to denied, stops later site-configured analytics events from being sent, and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies; you can also clear site storage or cookies in your browser. You can use the editorial and hotel-official source links without opening an affiliate booking link. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal information handled by the site operator.
